What is Starwood Academy?
With Starwood Academy, Starwood aims to make its sector experience and know-how available for the benefit of the entire furniture industry and to create value. While investing in the development and training of our employees since the first day we were founded, it was aimed to gather all these efforts under an academy roof, and the infrastructure for this has been developed since 2010. After the completion of corporate identity efforts, as of 2015, Starwood Academy moved beyond being just a factory and was made available to the entire İnegöl Furniture Industry.
To meet the sector’s needs for technical consultancy and training, in-house trainers who are “Masters of Their Craft” were trained within the academy. In line with the sector’s institutionalization needs, it aims to create value first for İnegöl and then for the furniture industry of our country by connecting requesting companies with our solution partners.
What Does Starwood Academy Do?
As Human Resources and Starwood Academy; we work to select the right person for the right job, emphasize corporate development with career goals suitable for the individual, spread our corporate culture to all company employees with the same care, and prepare a working environment where employees meet all rules and responsibilities in terms of occupational safety and worker health under the most suitable physical conditions.
We train all our newly hired employees to quickly make them a member of our work family. We want to teach our corporate culture and see all our employees in the Starwood work family with a long-term career goal, up to their retirement.
Our master employees teach all new employees the fine points of the job through on-the-job trainings. With this controlled and supervised process, we aim for our employees to learn the job as quickly as possible.
We handle the licensing applications for all our employees who need a vocational training license. We cover the license fees and transportation on the exam day. In addition, we help them prepare for the exams with our training materials.
