We introduced our Georgia - Batumi melamine press investment to the market in Kazakhstan Fair
11-14 Haziran 2008 tarihlerinde Almatı/Kazakistan'da gerçekleştirilen "2008 Starwood hosted the visitors in 2008 FURNITURE & INTERIOR ARCH FAIR, which was in Almaty / Kazakhstan between 11 – 14 June 2008.

We shared our new colors, new investments and new products with the market members. We informed the visitors about our new melamine press investment in Batumi – Georgia. The advantage of being able to transport all products via railways ( shipment of boards by wagons ) from Starwood Batumi Line to the customers received a positive response from the participants and visitors.

AWARD TO THE STAR OF EXPORT...
In "Year 2007 The Most Successful Export Companies Award Ceremony", Starwood won the first place in the category of wood and wood products exporter companies. The ceremony was held by Istanbul Wood Processing and Forest Products Export Association recently.
The results are set according to export registry figures of the year 2007. First place went to Starwood, having its headquarters in Inegöl, with the highest production volume in particleboard manufacturing under one roof. Second place went to Kastamonu Entegre, third Yildiz Entegre, fourth AGT, fifth Teverpan. Starwood Board of Directors Member Mr. Ozgur Ozgun took the price from the Minister of State, responsible for Foreign Trade, Mr. Kursat Tuzmen.
After the awared ceremony, Mr. Kursat Tuzmen claimed that Turkey's export is rapidly growing and Turkey is world number two in export increase. Moreover, we are the number one between the OECD countries.
Starwood Board of Directors Member Mr. Ozgur Ozgun said "We are proud of the success we gained in our market. Our target is to repeat this success in the coming years. We know that we have to work harder and manufacture more in order to get better results. Our new investment plans in 2008 and the products we will launch to the market such as MDF, MDFLam, One Side Printed MDF Back Panel, Starlight Honeycomb Cored Lightboard are the indicaters of our effort."
We met with construction sector in Turkeybuild Fair.
We participated to the International Turkeybuild Istanbul Fair 2008, which was hosted by Construction Industry Center in Beylikdüzü – TUYAP Exhibition Center. We introduced our new colors, investments and products to the market members. We had the chance to announce not only our Ikiitelli One-Stop-Shop, but also our Starlight Honeycomb Cored Lightboard and MDF investment. Our booth was the center of attention for both local and foreign visitors and participants.
