The Furniture Colours for 2001 are Taking Shape

The colours and designs to be used in the furniture for 2011 were discussed in an organization which was set up jointly by Yıldız Entegre, Yıldız Sunta MDF and Starwood in Inegöl. While the designers, manufacturers, and furniture producers who came from all four corners of Turkey to İnegöl made their evaluations among the samples exhibited, the colour and design cards to be formulated were designated according to these preferences.  İnegöl hosted a significant organization from the point of view of the Turkish furniture sector. In the organization which was set up in Hera plant, the samples which the designers of three large paper companies from Germany worked on were examined by approximately 1000 designers, manufacturers, and furniture producers who had come from all four corners of Turkey.   


In this organization which was set up jointly by Yıldız Entegre, Yıldız Sunta MDF and Starwood the new colours and designs with their samples which are to be implemented drew great interest from people, and by introducing these colours and designs together with their edging band which will be designated by analyzing along the line of participants choices to the market just before the IMOB fair started it was aimed to shape the 2011 furniture according to these cards. With this activity the aim of which was to formulate the new colour cards by taking the opinions of the users into consideration these three biggest manufacturers in the sector, namely Yıldız Entegre, Yıldız Sunta MDF and Starwood obtained full points from the participants. After the colours and designs have been designated the edging bands will be put on the market by Lignadekor.

Nature-Friendly Giant Investment From Starwood

Starwood AŞ which opens Inegöl’s door to the world carries on its policy “clean environment in spite of everything” with this giant investment. The company which carries on its activities in İnegöl Industrial Zone installed an electronic filter which cost 6 million Euro in its plants.

The watery Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) which was set up in Starwood A.Ş. and started its activity on 30^th June is defined as the latest technology in this field which is produced in the world. According to the information the filter has a capacity of 420 thousand M3/hour clearing air capacity and the amount of particles in the air which is cleared by this filter is below 15mg/M3. When this figure is compared with the 150mg/M3 which is the international legal limit it can be seen that air-issuing is done 10 times below the standards.

EQUITY CAPITAL IS USED

This system which purifies the water that is used in the process minimizes the water usage and prevents the water wasting. It is also emphasized that this filter system investment which is a result of Starwood A.Ş’ s “clean environment in spite of everything” policy has been realized without any legal obligation. Gas has been issuing from Starwood AŞ chimneys for 6 years in the international standards, and this investment has been realized without any legal obligation. Starwood AŞ hopes that this investment which cost 6 million Euro and has been done totally with equities and credits can be an example and it also wishes that the same sensitivity can be shown by the other establishments.  

Blood Donation from Starwood Employees

The employees of Starwood Orman Ürünleri AŞ donated blood to Kızılay (Turkish Red Cross). One of Turkey’s biggest companies in the forest products Sector, Starwood Orman Ürünleri A.Ş. has also drawn attention with its activities in social responsibility areas. Starwood’s employees donate blood to Kızılay every few months. Recently, in the campaign which was organized in the factory almost 50 employees donated blood to Kızılay. Starwood authorized staff drew attention about how important blood for a human beings life is and added that not only in the period of illness and accidents do we need the blood but outwith these periods every time we must be aware of the importance of blood. In the explanation done, it is emphasized that these blood donation campaigns will continue.
